(3) In the linked directory create an empty file called 'x3tc.exe'. > $ ln -s '/Applications/X3 Terran War Pack.app/Contents/Resources/game' * Without this link you will not be able to select the correct game directory for installation, as OS X Finder won't allow you to select a subdirectory of an APP file for installation. (2) Create a symbolic link to 'X3 Terran War Pack.app/Contents/Resources/game' directory. If you want a clean copy of X3, re-extract the DMG file. Note: The created unstallation executables (unins000.exe) -DO NOT- correctly remove Bonus Pack files. I used an empty Wineskin wrapper, but a straight 'wine' call or running via Crossover should work just as well. I won't cover how to use a terminal or wine here, so if you aren't familiar with the process you'll have to look that up elsewhere. (5) You have Wine/Wineskin/Crossover/etc.
(3) You have downloaded 'x3tc_bonus_package_4.1.01.exe'. (2) You have installed 'X3 Terran War Pack.app'. This is a quick walkthrough of how to install the official X3 Bonus Packs for both X3TC and X3AP in 'X3: Terran War Pack' on a Mac (Apple OS X).
